Ducting & Ventilation

Cleaning may be appropriate where inspection shows significant dust or debris in accessible ductwork or where the maintenance scope specifically requires it. It should not be sold as a guaranteed solution to every cooling or humidity problem.

Possible causes include restricted filters or coils, duct leakage, damaged or disconnected ductwork, balancing problems, fan performance or return-air issues. Testing the airflow and inspecting the connected system helps avoid cleaning the wrong component.

Yes. Odours can involve damp components, condensate trays or drains, moisture elsewhere in the ceiling void, drainage problems or air entering from another area. The source should be identified rather than assuming that every smell requires duct cleaning.

Supply air entering a room needs a suitable path back to the system. Restricted return airflow can affect comfort and system performance, so both supply and return conditions should be considered when one room behaves differently from the rest of the property.

We recommend professional AC duct cleaning and sanitization every 18 to 24 months to prevent mold spore accumulation and sand dust build-up.
