Duct cleaning removes contamination from accessible ductwork, but it does not automatically correct refrigerant, chilled-water, coil, airflow, control, compressor or equipment-capacity problems. Cooling performance should be diagnosed before a cleaning service is presented as the solution.

Possible causes can involve coil performance, chilled-water conditions, airflow, condensate drainage, fresh-air supply, control settings or humid outside air entering the property. High humidity therefore needs more than checking whether cold air is coming from a vent.

Confirm the fault, assess equipment condition and examine the connected system. Depending on the installation, this can include controls, electrical supply, airflow, coil condition, drainage, ductwork and refrigerant or chilled-water performance. Replacement should follow diagnosis, not substitute for it.

Describe the temperature problem, when it occurs, rooms affected, humidity if measured, unusual noise, water leakage, odour and previous repairs. This helps separate cooling, ventilation, drainage and control problems.

Indoor AC water leakage is usually caused by a blocked condensate drain line, uninsulated suction pipe, or tilted evaporator pan. We flush lines with nitrogen and clear debris.
